Tóm tắt: Cách mạng Tháng Tám năm 1945 bắt nguồn từ đường lối cách mạng giải phóng dân tộc đúng đắn của Đảng trong việc vận dụng và phát triển sáng tạo chủ nghĩa Mác - Lênin vào thực tiễn Việt Nam; thể hiện tư tưởng Hồ Chí Minh về giải quyết đúng đắn mối quan hệ giai cấp - dân tộc, dân tộc - quốc tế, lợi ích quốc gia - lợi ích bộ phận, mục tiêu trước mắt - định hướng lâu dài của cách mạng Việt Nam. Đường lối đó kế thừa con đường đấu tranh của các thế hệ người Việt Nam yêu nước và Đảng đã có 15 năm kiểm nghiệm từ thực tiễn đấu tranh cách mạng, đặc biệt là giai đoạn 1939-1945 với những quyết định mang tính bước ngoặt tại các Hội nghị Trung ương, đặc biệt là Hội nghị lần thứ Tám Ban Chấp hành Trung ương (5-1941), đã đưa đến thành công của Cách mang Tháng Tám năm 1945.

THE REVOLUTIONARY PATH OF NATIONAL LIBERATION THE DECISIVE FACTOR IN THE VICTORY OF THE AUGUST REVOLUTION OF 1945
Abstract: The August Revolution of 1945 stemmed from the Party’s correct revolutionary line for national liberation, which involved the creative application and development of Marxism–Leninism in accordance with the specific realities of Vietnam. This revolutionary line reflected Ho Chi Minh’s thought on appropriately addressing the relationships between class and nation, national and international interests, national interests and sectional interests, as well as the immediate objectives and long-term orientation of the Vietnamese revolution. It inherited the struggle traditions of generations of Vietnamese patriots, while being tested and refined through 15 years of revolutionary struggle in practice. This was particularly evident during the period from 1939 to 1945, when the Central Committee’s conferences made a series of turning-point decisions, most notably the Eighth Plenum of the Party Central Committee in May 1941. These strategic decisions laid the foundation for and ultimately contributed decisively to the success of the August Revolution of 1945.
