Tóm tắt: Trong tiến trình lịch sử Việt Nam đầu thế kỷ XX, sự ra đời của Hội Việt Nam Cách mạng Thanh niên năm 1925 đánh dấu một bước phát triển quan trọng của phong trào yêu nước theo khuynh hướng vô sản. Sự ra đời của Hội gắn liền với những chuyển biến trong đời sống chính trị, xã hội Việt Nam dưới ách thống trị của thực dân Pháp, khi yêu cầu giải phóng dân tộc ngày càng trở nên cấp thiết, trong khi các khuynh hướng cứu nước đã xuất hiện trước đó chưa tìm được con đường và phương thức đấu tranh có khả năng đáp ứng đầy đủ yêu cầu của lịch sử. Trong bối cảnh ấy, việc truyền bá chủ nghĩa Mác - Lênin, xây dựng lực lượng cách mạng và hình thành một tổ chức cách mạng theo khuynh hướng vô sản có có ý nghĩa quyết định đối với sự phát triển tiếp theo của phong trào giải phóng dân tộc, tạo nền tảng về tư tưởng, lý luận và tổ chức cho sự ra đời của các tổ chức cộng sản - tiền thân trực tiếp của Đảng Cộng sản Việt Nam. Bài viết tập trung làm rõ quá trình ra đời của Hội Việt Nam Cách mạng Thanh niên và những giá trị lịch sử, ý nghĩa của Hội đối với cách mạng.

THE VIETNAM REVOLUTIONARY YOUTH LEAGUE - HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE
Abstract: In the historical trajectory of Vietnam in the early twentieth century, the establishment of the Vietnam Revolutionary Youth League in 1925 marked an important development in the Vietnamese patriotic movement oriented towards proletarian revolution. The League’s emergence was closely associated with political and social transformations in Vietnam under French colonial rule, as the demand for national liberation became increasingly urgent, while earlier movements and ideological currents had yet to identify a path and methods of struggle capable of fully addressing the demands of the historical context. Against this backdrop, the dissemination of Marxism - Leninism, the development of revolutionary forces, and the formation of an organisation with a relatively coherent programme of action became decisive factors in the subsequent development of the national liberation movement. The League laid the ideological, theoretical, and organisational foundations for the emergence of communist organisations that paved the way for the establishment of the Communist Party of Vietnam. This article examines the establishment of the Vietnam Revolutionary Youth League and analyses its historical significance for the Vietnamese revolution.
